This is the first reassembled ring teapot I have tried with two rings: the arc that forms the base is not a part of the original ring, which I cut into four sections for the teapot assembly. I didn't seal the cross-section of the four-pointed star base ring, so you can see the hollow construction. The finial on the lid is cut from the same end of the base ring. With these Reassembled Ring compositions, I often don't know while I am working on the teapot where the lid, handle, and spout will go. I reassemble the ring, and then view it from different positions before choosing the final orientation.
